AIESEC in the University of Sri Jayewardenepura marked a remarkable milestone with “Resonance: 15 Plus Years of Us,” a celebration honoring over fifteen years of leadership, impact, and youth empowerment. This special event brought together generations of AIESECers: current members, alumni, and partners, to reflect on the legacy built through dedication, purpose, and a shared drive to create meaningful change. Resonance was not only a tribute to the organization’s journey but also a reaffirmation of the values that continue to shape AIESEC in USJ today.
The festivities commenced on 14th December with a heartfelt CSR initiative at the Vajira Sri Development Centre, where AIESECers extended their commitment to community service. Members engaged with children through games, entertainment sessions, and a donation of essential school supplies, creating moments of joy and inspiration. This initiative set the perfect tone for the celebration reminding everyone that leadership is rooted in service and impact beyond the organization.
The main gathering took place on 7th January 2026 at Ariana Reach Hotel, Maharagama, where alumni and current members reunited to relive memories and appreciate the evolution of AIESEC in USJ. The evening featured an inspiring reflection of the chapter’s growth, interactive games, and shared moments that rekindled the spirit of camaraderie. Throughout the gathering, the atmosphere was filled with nostalgia and appreciation for the collective effort that has shaped the organization’s trajectory.
