Collaborative Meeting to Address Resource Needs for Dental Students at University of Sri Jayewardenepura

A meeting was recently convened by the Ministry of Health and Mass Media to discuss the physical and human resource requirements of dental students at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura’s Faculty of Dentistry. The session brought together representatives from the university, Maharagama Oral Health Institute, and other relevant institutions to identify and address the needs of dental students in preparation for their professorial training. Currently, the Faculty of Dentistry has approximately 145 students spanning from the 1st to 4th year. The discussions focused on ensuring that the students have access to the necessary resources and support to enhance their academic and practical training.
