Empowering Youth Through Outbound Leadership Training – A Dynamic OBT Session by Sri Lanka Unites Organized by AIESEC in Ruhuna

A transformative Outbound Training (OBT) session was held on August 23 rd in University of Ruhuna premises, bringing together passionate youth from across Matara and undergraduates from the University of Ruhuna. Organized by AIESEC in University of Ruhuna and guided by the experienced team from Sri Lanka Unites, this dynamic session offered a blend of leadership development, team-building activities, and engaging experiential learning.

Held over the weekend, the OBT program aimed to cultivate essential soft skills such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and leadership. Participants immersed themselves in outdoor challenges, quality games, and fun-filled activities—all carefully designed to promote self-awareness, trust, and unity among young leaders.

The event welcomed over 100 enthusiastic A/L graduates and university students, providing them with a rare opportunity to connect, reflect, and grow through experiential education beyond classroom walls.
