K.M.G.S.N. Kaluwewa Assumes Duties as Secretary to the Ministry of Education

K.M.G.S.N. Kaluwewa has officially assumed duties as the Secretary to the Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education at the ‘Isurupaya’ Ministry premises. This marks a significant step in implementing the new government’s policies, which place a higher priority on education.

Education Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, speaking during her assumption of duties at the Ministry, emphasized the importance of systematic and well-defined schedules in school education. She highlighted her commitment to resolving the challenges faced by the education sector promptly and creating an environment where children can learn happily.

“I am humbled and happy to assume a ministerial position in a field as significant as education, and I fully understand the gravity of this responsibility,” the Minister remarked.
