Nalin Hewage Assumes Duties as Deputy Minister of Vocational Education

Nalin Hewage officially assumed duties as the Deputy Minister of Vocational Education during a ceremony held at the Nipunatha Piyasa in Narahenpita. The event took place in the presence of Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.

The ceremony was attended by several prominent figures, including Deputy Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr. Madura Seneviratne, Secretary to the Prime Minister Pradeep Saputhanthri, Secretary to the Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education Nalaka Kaluwewa, as well as ministry officials and heads of affiliated institutions.

In his role as Deputy Minister, Nalin Hewage is expected to lead efforts to enhance vocational training and education in Sri Lanka, ensuring alignment with the government’s goals for skill development and employability.
