45th General Convocation of the University of Moratuwa
The 45th General Convocation of the University of Moratuwa was held on December 17 and 18, 2024, at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) across six sessions. The ceremony was presided over by the Chancellor of the University, Professor Monte Cassim.
During the event, a total of 2,140 graduands received degrees and diplomas. This included over 493 postgraduate degrees, with 10 individuals earning their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
The convocation marked a significant milestone in the academic journey of the graduates, celebrating their achievements and contributions to their respective fields.
