Bhutanese Students Enroll for MBBS at University of Peradeniya
Ten Bhutanese students enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya, on December 2, 2024, to pursue the MBBS degree program. These students, top-ranked in Bhutan’s university entrance examinations, were admitted under a memorandum of understanding between the Royal Government of Bhutan and the University of Peradeniya.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the MOU between the two institutions. The students were warmly welcomed by the Dean and faculty staff and later treated to a welcome lunch at the Peradeniya Rest House. Expressing their excitement, the students shared their gratitude for the opportunity to join the esteemed program.
