NSBM Hindu Society hosted a vibrant celebration, ‘Pongal 25!‘, to honor the traditional harvest festival of Hindu culture. Held on January 23, 2025, at the NSBM Open Air Theater, the event infused the university campus with a spirit of gratitude, unity, and festive joy. The occasion featured captivating performances, traditional art forms, and a sacred Pooja, leaving attendees with lasting memories. Distinguished guests included Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Prof. J. Baratha Dodankotuwa, deans of faculties, department heads, as well as NSBM staff and students, all of whom embraced the serene tradition of this joyful festival.
