The University Grants Commission (UGC) has officially opened online registration for university admission based on the results of the Advanced Level (A/L) examination. Eligible students can now submit their applications through the UGC’s official website at www.ugc.ac.lk.
The registration process will remain open until 12 midnight on the 30th of this month. After the deadline, applicants will be granted a two-week window to revise and update their university course preferences.
This year, around 43,300 students are expected to secure admission to state universities based on their A/L examination results.
