Leader in You is a youth leadership development programme organized by AIESEC in University of Colombo with the objective of equipping young people with the practical skills, mindset, and confidence required to become responsible and impactful leaders.

The programme is tailored to participants at different stages of their academic journey. For Advanced Level students and immediate school leavers, it provides an early opportunity to develop leadership capabilities before entering higher education or the professional world. For university undergraduates, the event serves as a platform to refine existing leadership skills, expand their perspectives through diverse interactions, and strengthen competencies that complement both their academic and future career aspirations.

A key highlight of the programme is the Outbound Training (OBT) experience, where participants engage in structured team-building activities and practical leadership challenges. These experiential sessions encourage collaboration, effective communication, critical thinking, adaptability, and problem-solving in real-world scenarios, allowing participants to translate leadership concepts into meaningful action.

The programme also features inspiring sessions led by accomplished guest speakers who share their personal experiences, professional insights, and leadership journeys. These sessions are designed to motivate participants, broaden their outlook, and encourage them to embrace opportunities for growth and positive change.
