UNItoday Partners with Verité Research to Support Budget Proposals Hub

UNItoday is pleased to announce its collaboration with Verité Research to support the Budget Proposals Hub, an initiative that creates opportunities for citizens and young people to contribute ideas and engage in discussions around Sri Lanka’s Budget 2027. The initiative aims to encourage greater public participation by providing a platform where diverse perspectives and policy ideas can be shared and considered.

As a platform dedicated to Sri Lankan university students and youth, UNItoday believes that student voices deserve a place in conversations that shape the country’s future. Through this collaboration, UNItoday will help create greater awareness of the Budget Proposals Hub among university students and young people, encouraging them to actively participate in discussions on public policy and national development priorities.

Through the Budget Proposals Hub, participants can submit their policy ideas, develop initial concepts into proposals, and vote on existing proposals. UNItoday encourages university students and young people across Sri Lanka to explore the initiative, share their perspectives, and take part in this opportunity to contribute to the conversation surrounding Budget 2027.

Your Budget. Your Future.
Script it. Share it. Shape it.

More information about the Budget Proposals Hub and related opportunities will be shared through UNItoday.
